Irish Rugby Season Programme 2025 - 2026
We are delighted to announce our Long-Term Programme, offering international students between the ages of 18+ the unique and life-defining opportunity to live, study, work and play rugby in Ireland.
Living with an Irish host family for the duration of their stay, the programme allows a player to be immersed in the day-to-day cultural experience of living in Ireland. The programme will be tailored around the needs of an individual player.

Rugby
In terms of rugby, depending on the age of the player, they will either be enrolled in the local High School Senior Cup Rugby Team, giving them a chance to socialise with other players their own age and gain valuable rugby skills from the highly skilled coaches; or if they are older than 18 then they will be playing with Suttonians Rugby Club. Working with ex-professional players, professional rugby coaches, strength & conditioning experts, sports nutritionists and physical therapists, every aspect of a player’s development are covered.
Education
Whether you are looking to enrol full-time in a second level school or focus your studies on English and one of our highly respected English speaking colleges, we will work with you to craft the education package that best suits your needs.
English Studies
Partnering with the College of English Studies, based in Dublin City Centre, IRI students have access to daily English classes at the school. CES has over 30 years’ experience teaching the English language to students from across the globe. All of their teachers have a university degree plus an ACELS recognised teaching qualification, with many holding specialist EFL teaching qualifications, such as DELTA. All of the CES teachers in Ireland are chosen not only their excellent experience but also for their enthusiasm, positive attitude and their ability to make language learning fun.
Certification
We are happy to be able to offer a wide range of optional certifications for participants to accomplish. These include;
• Rugby Coaching and Officiating certifications recognised by World Rugby and the IRFU
